Summary
Dr. Atif Jilani is working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, National University of Computer & Emerging Sciences (Fast-NU), Islamabad, Pakistan. He is also a lead scientist at QUEST Lab, a leading software engineering lab in Pakistan. Dr. Jilani is the recipient of Rs ~100 Million grant from HEC for the establishment of UAV Dependability lab as a part of National Centre of Robotics and Automation (NCRA). He is actively engaged in projects related to development of safety critical systems, including avionics systems of aircrafts and UAVs and radars. He has been involved in development of software testing tools and techniques for airborne software systems. He is also an expert in the area of Model-driven engineering of avionics systems, for example using Arcadia method and model transformations of such models. His research interests include model-driven engineering particularly model transformation, model base testing, search-based software engineering, software testing, empirical software engineering and software & System modeling of avionics systems.
