Summary
Dr. Uzair Khan has been teaching at National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences as a associate professor since July 2011. He received his PhD degree from University of Nice, Sophia Antipolis, France for the research work he carried out at “institut national de la recherche informatique et automatique” (INRIA). Dr. Uzair has extensive expertise and experience in Automated Software Testing, Quality Engineering of Mission and Safety Critical Systems and Model Driven Engineering. He is actively involved in projects of national significance in particular in the domain of avionics software systems with Pakistan Aeronautical Complex. Dr. Uzair is the Principal Investigator of IGNITE funded project "Automated Generation and Testing of Mobile Application Variants" (2017 - 2019) and is the Co-Principal Investigator of GNITE Fund project “An integrated toolset for automated model based testing of industrial scale software” (2013-2015). He is also a Co-PI of UAV Dependability Lab, set up as part of National Center for Robotics and Automation. He is the head of Software Quality Engineering & Testing Lab, (www.questlab.pk) at FAST-NUCES Islamabad where he is managing a team of 37 research scientists, engineering’s and graduate students. http://isb.nu.edu.pk/uzair
