Mirza Omer Beg is currently appointed as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences Islamabad. He is heading the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Lab. His current research work focusses on Text Mining and Green Computing. The Text Mining project aims to decipher language semantics from human conversations on social media using natural language. Green Computation attempts to connect optimization techniques with programming languages, compilers and computer architecture. It attempts to develop tools and techniques to help developers improve the energy consumption of software on power-constrained devices.
Dr. Hasan Mujtaba has research interests in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Computational Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Mining & Knowledge Discovery, Evolutionary Gaming, Machine Vision & Robotics. He is actively involved in research in these areas and has several publications to his name.
Waseem Shahzad received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2008 and 2010, respectively. He is currently working as a Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science at National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Islamabad, Pakistan. His current research interests lie in Bio-Informatics, Agro Informatics, Data Science, Machine Learning, Information Systems, Natural Language Processing, and Evolutionary Computation. He has numerous research publications in these areas.
Hammad Majeed is currently working as Assistant Professor at National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Islamabad, Pakistan. He did his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Limerick, Ireland, and B.E. in Software Engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan, in 2007 and 1999 respectively. He has research interests in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Computational Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Mining & Knowledge Discovery, Evolutionary Gaming, and Machine Vision & Robotics. He is actively involved in research in these areas.
Muhammad Umair Arshad is currently working as Lecturer at National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Islamabad, Pakistan. He did his MS in Computer Science from the the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Islamabad, Pakistan. He has research interests in the areas of Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Data Mining. He is actively involved in research in these areas.
Hassan Raza is currently working as Lecturer at National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Islamabad, Pakistan. He did his MS in Computer Science from the the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Islamabad, Pakistan. He has research interests in the areas of Image Processing, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Data Mining. He is actively involved in research in these areas.
