"Dr. Ahmad R. Shahid joined FAST NUCES as Professor in Feb 2022. He has over 14 years of experience in higher education in the leading institutions of the country. He also has more than 5 years of industrial experience under his belt, out of which 4 years were in the UK. Dr. Shahid won fundings worth more than PKR 100 million, including Medical Imaging and Diagnostic Lab (PKR 97.57 million) at COMSATS University Islamabad, which was part of National Center of Artificial Intelligence. He did his PhD in 2012 from University of York, UK in Natural Language Processing (NLP). His areas of interest include medical image processing, deep learning, and natural language processing."
