About SAFE

The Sustainable Accounting, Finance & Economics Research Center (SAFE) is a multidisciplinary research center established under the Department of Accounting & Finance, FAST School of Management, National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES), Islamabad Campus.

The Center serves as a platform for promoting high-quality research, interdisciplinary collaboration, policy engagement, and capacity building in accounting, finance, economics, sustainability, and related disciplines. SAFE seeks to bridge the gap between academia, industry, policymakers, and society by generating evidence-based solutions to contemporary economic, financial, environmental, and governance challenges.

To become a leading nationally and internationally recognized research center advancing knowledge, innovation, and evidence-based policy solutions in sustainable accounting, finance, economics, and sustainable development.

Mission

To conduct high-quality, policy-relevant research; promote interdisciplinary collaboration in sustainable accounting, finance, economics, and related fields; generate evidence-based solutions to economic, environmental, and social challenges; foster national and international research partnerships; support the capacity building of students and researchers; and contribute to sustainable development through research, innovation, and knowledge dissemination.
