Sana Saleh is a Lecturer at the Department of Electrical Engineering, National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES), Islamabad, Pakistan. She completed her Master’s in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Control Systems from NUCES-FAST, where she was recognized as a high achiever for her academic excellence. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS), NUST.
Sana has a strong academic and research background in Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), and Blockchain, with a keen interest in applying these advanced techniques to solve complex real-world problems. Her current research focuses on sustainable and energy-efficient solutions for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) within the Industry 5.0 framework, emphasizing digital twin security, vehicular metaverse applications, and cybersecurity in smart mobility networks. She is also actively exploring emerging technologies such as Generative AI (G-AI) and Explainable AI (XAI) for intelligent and secure transportation systems. She has contributed to high-impact IEEE and Elsevier journals, advancing the integration of Web 3.0 technologies in decentralized vehicle-road interactions.
