Summary

Dr. Subhan Ullah is an Associate Professor in the Department of Cybersecurity at the FAST School of Computing, FAST National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (FAST-NUCES), Islamabad, Pakistan. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science/IT in April 2019 from the University of Klagenfurt, Austria, in collaboration with the University of Genoa, Italy, under the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorate Program for Interactive and Cognitive Environments (EMJD-ICE). As a recipient of the European Union IDEAS scholarship, Dr. Subhan also completed two semesters of the Joint International Master (JIM) in Computer Science at the University of Applied Sciences, Darmstadt, Germany, in December 2014. He holds an MS in Computer Science from the International Islamic University Islamabad (March 2013) and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Malakand, Pakistan (August 2008). His current research interest include lightweight cryptographic solutions for data security and ML based techniques for intrusion detection in cloud and Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
