Dr. Muhammad Awais is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at FAST-NUCES, Islamabad Campus, and an HEC-approved PhD supervisor. His research focuses on renewable energy systems, printed electronics, and advanced sensor technologies. During his PhD, he developed flexible printed sensors for applications including human breath monitoring, meat quality assessment, and smart agriculture, effectively integrating materials science with practical engineering solutions. He served as Co-Principal Investigator of an HEC-funded NRPU project in 2025, contributing to innovative research initiatives in his field. Alongside research, he is dedicated to teaching and student development, offering undergraduate elective and core courses in Power Engineering and Basic Electronics, such as Power Generation, Power Transmission, Power Electronics, Electronic Devices and Circuits, Electronic Circuit Design, Linear Circuit Analysis, and Digital Logic Design.
