Mehreen is currently serving as an English Lecturer at FAST Islamabad, where she teaches English courses to undergrad students. She holds an MPhil in English and has previously been awarded the prestigious Fulbright FLTA Fellowship (2021-22), spending a year in the United States teaching and engaging in cross-cultural exchange. She is also a SUSI 2017 alumna, where she explored leadership and policymaking through an international summer program. Her professional interests include academic and technical writing, cross-cultural communication, curriculum development, and the integration of critical thinking into language classrooms. She is also actively interested in research on climate education and climate fiction, focusing on how narratives can raise awareness and influence perspectives on environmental challenges. She is committed to creating engaging, practical learning experiences that prepare students for academic, professional, and global challenges.
