Summary

Ms. Sumaira Ghafoor is a lecturer at FAST School of Management, FAST NUCES. Currently, she is teaching Environmental Science and Sustainability for Business to undergraduate Business Analytics students. She is also pursuing a Ph.D. in Economics from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, specializing in Environmental Economics. With a strong academic background in core economics and environmental economics, she brings over several years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level. Her expertise extends beyond the classroom. She has served as a Research Fellow at the IBA Centre of Excellence in Islamic Finance (CEIF), where she contributed to significant reports, including the First Islamic Finance Country Report and the comprehensive NBFI and Modaraba Sector Country Report. Her research and teaching are driven by a commitment to integrating sustainable practices within the economic landscape.
