Dr. Muhammad Rizwan is a technology professional with over 14 years of experience in software development, IT management, and high-performance computing (HPC) research. He recently completed his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from Soongsil University, South Korea, where his dissertation focused on Kokkos-optimized HPCG benchmarks, a performance-portable tool for evaluating and ranking supercomputers in the Top500 list. His professional experience includes senior roles at Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), Punjab Masstransit Authority (PMA), Nimble Geeks, and Techlogix, where he successfully managed enterprise-scale software implementations, IT governance, and large-scale digital transformation projects. He holds PMP and AWS Cloud Practitioner certifications and has led cross-functional teams in diverse capacities including Senior Program Manager, Project Manager, Deputy Manager IT and Principal Software Engineer. Dr. Rizwan?s research spans high-performance computing and bioinformatics, with peer-reviewed publications in IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, and BMC journals. He has developed two patented bioinformatics tools, VacSol and PanRV, focused on vaccine target discovery through reverse vaccinology and pangenome analysis, both of which are widely adopted in the scientific community. His academic background also includes an MS in Computational Science and Engineering from NUST (2016) and a BS in Computer Science from FAST-NUCES (2010), supplemented by a BSc in Mathematics and Physics from BZU.
