Dr. Riffat Shaheen is an Assistant Professor (Accounting and Finance) at the FAST School of Management, FAST–NUCES, Pakistan. She holds a PhD in Finance from Wuhan University, China. Her academic work integrates teaching, research, and scholarly service, with experience in teaching and supervising students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Dr. Shaheen’s research focuses on corporate finance, particularly corporate governance, gender diversity, corporate social responsibility, and sustainable and climate finance. Her work also examines how governance and sustainability practices influence firm performance, disclosure behavior, and broader social and health-related outcomes. She has published extensively in SSCI-, SCIE-, and Scopus-indexed journals, including several Q1 outlets. Her research contributes to the growing literature on sustainable finance, environmental governance, and responsible business practices.
